  1. What heat should I run?
    It’s up to you! Our competitive heat has required penalties or mandatory completion of obstacles depending on race as well as prizes. Our open wave is for those that want the challenge but aren’t looking to compete. See the descriptions of each heat for more details.
  2. What is the competitive heat?
    The competitive heat is for the OCRers that want to compete for trophies, prizes and bragging rights. Competitive racers will be required to complete penalties for failure to complete obstacles for our winter race. Our Spring and Summer races require mandatory completion of all obstacles. Racers unable to meet these requirements will have to forfeit their Legend Race band as well as their eligibility for trophies and prizes. Top 3 males and females will receive trophies and prizes. Every racer will receive a race shirt and finisher medal..
  3. What is the open heat?
    The open heat is for any OCRer that wants to challenge themselves in a friendly encouraging environment. We are all about what OCR started out to be... a team building, fun run that encourages the very thing we love about OCR, the comradery and the spirit of overcoming challenges together. Every racer will receive a race shirt and finisher medal.
  4. What about parking?
    Parking is at the race location. There is a $10/vehicle fee for parking. So plan on carpooling and save some dough.
  5. Where and when do I pick up my registration packet?
    Pick up your race packet one hour before your start time at the race registration table on the day of the race.
  6. What should I bring?
    Whatever you want for the race. Good running shoes for rugged terrain and comfortable clothes for running are recognized mended. This is a family friendly event so please no revealing clothing. Changing tents are available if you desire to bring a change of clothes.
  7. Is there a bag check? Are there changing tents?
    Yes and it’s free! Yes
  8. Are there wash stations?
    No. There is not enough mud or water on the course to require them
  9. Are there restrooms?
    Yes, port-a-potties will be on site
  10. Is this a family friendly event?
    Yes! We welcome everyone to come to the event
  11. Can I spectate?
    Yes, spectators are welcome to walk to course and encourage their racers. Spectating is free! So bring everyone!
  12. Is alcohol allowed on site?
    No, alcohol is not served or allowed on site.
  13. Is first aid available?
    Yes, there will be a first aid station on site.
